Travel Trip Itinerary

Privacy Policy for TravelTripItinerary.com

Hey there, fellow wanderers! I’m the Absent-Minded Traveler, the 33-year-old globe-trotter behind TravelTripItinerary.com. After 6 years on the road, I’ve learned a thing or two about privacy (like always locking your hostel locker, even if you think you’ll “just be gone for a minute”). So, let’s talk about how I handle your info on this site.

What info do I collect?

  • Email addresses: If you sign up for my newsletter, I’ll need your email. Don’t worry, I won’t spam you with offers for timeshares or anything sketchy.
  • Comments: If you leave a comment, I’ll save it along with your name/username. It’s not like I’ll forget it anyway (hence the “absent-minded” part).
  • Analytics: I use basic analytics to see how many people visit my site. It’s anonymous, so I won’t know if you’re reading this at 3 AM instead of packing for your trip tomorrow.

How do I use this info?

  • To send you my newsletter (if you signed up for it)
  • To display your comments on the blog
  • To figure out which of my stories are hits and which are, well, as forgettable as that time I left my passport in a taxi in Bangkok

Do I share your info?

Nope! Your info stays with me, like that weird souvenir you bought in a moment of weakness and now can’t get rid of.

Your rights

You can ask me to delete your info anytime. Just shoot me an email at absentmindedtraveler@traveltripitinerary.com. Fair warning: I might forget to do it immediately, but I promise I’ll get to it eventually.

Cookies

This site uses cookies, but not the delicious kind. They’re just to remember your preferences, like whether you’ve accepted this policy. Speaking of which, you should probably do that.

Changes to this policy

I might update this policy from time to time, like when I remember something important I forgot to include. Check back occasionally, or don’t. I’m not your mom.

Last updated: August 1, 2024

Remember, by using this site, you’re agreeing to this policy. If you don’t agree, well, there are plenty of other travel blogs out there written by people who probably remember to pack underwear more often than I do.

Stay curious and keep wandering!
